No commission this year
0% host fee for the first twelve months, 3% after that. Guests pay 5%, capped at the $400 equivalent — so a six-month booking does not carry a four-figure fee.

The first two steps exist for real, on /host/verify. That page records a walkthrough through your camera and checks it for cuts server-side, and runs a speed test that moves real data over your connection.
We would rather tell you now than after you have listed.
“In the demo” means exactly that — you can see it working in the host dashboard on mock data, and it is not yet running against real bookings or real money. Nothing here is marketed as finished before it is.
